SOUTH STREET This recently opened restaurant in the Design District has a great atmosphere. The blend of soul food and Southern comfort brings in an interesting crowd. (4000 NE Second Avenue; southstreetmiami.com)

POSTCARD INN BEACH RESORT Miamians go for the weekend to this new hotel in Islamorada, on the Florida Keys. The 1960s-mod beach vibe reminds me of New York’s Montauk. (84001 Overseas Highway; islamoradapostcard.com)

MAYFAIR ANTIQUE MARKET Down the street from CocoWalk in Coconut Grove is this market, where I’ve found vintage Chanel and Pucci, ostrich-leather-framed Ray-Bans, and other treasures. It’s open only Friday through Sunday and has the best finds in the morning. (2900 Grand Avenue; 305.673.4991)

C. MADELEINE’S My vintage-fashion heaven. (13702 Biscayne Boulevard; cmadeleines.com)

THE BROKEN SHAKER This cool bar started out as a pop-up. It has great energy, probably thanks to the strung lights and Ping-Pong table. (2727 Indian Creek Drive; brokenshaker.com)

JUGOFRESH Where the locals get fresh organic juice before heading out for the night. (1935 West Avenue; 786.472.2552)
