This weekend at New York Fashion Week was all about Alexander Wang, who hosted his Spring 2017 show on Saturday evening with celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Nicki Minaj, and Madonna all sitting front row, followed by an after-party with performances by Desiigner, Travis Scott, and CL. Two new faces in the crowd, however were Madonna's oldest children: Lourdes 'Lola' Maria Ciccone Leon, 19, who sat front row in a "Strict" sweater from Wang's Fall 2016 collection, and Rocco Ritchi, who made his modeling debut in the Alexander Wang x Adidas campaign, which was revealed simultaneously.
Leon, whose father is the Cuban actor Carlos Leon, is currently studying music, theater, and dance at the University of Michigan, and made her modeling debut this summer in Stella McCartney's "Pop" fragrance campaign. Leon has always had an interest in fashion though, and in 2010 she and her mother started a punk-rock kids label with Macy's together called "Material Girl," after Madonna's 1985 single. Like her mother, Leon's style stands out in a crowd, and she is often snapped wearing loud prints, rocker tees, and has dyed her hair numerous different shades including green and platinum. Front row at Alexander Wang, she sported a mini bag with "Dealer" bedazzled on it, plus a fake "M.O.M." tattoo across her knuckles, in case anyone questioned her seat assignment.
Ritchie, whose father is the filmmaker Guy Ritchie, is still in high school, but joined '#'WangSquad members Hanne Gaby Odiele, Binx Walton, and Lexi Boling as the rookie face of Adidas x Alexander Wang. He was spotted in New York City this August with long, flowing locks, so it's possible he shaved his head for the shoot, which was shot by Juergen Teller and styled by Karl Templer.
At this rate, it looks like Ritchie and Leon the next Kaia and Presley Gerber.
