Who: Naomie Harris
Where: A screening of the Weinstein Company’s new film Mandela: Long Road to Freedom, hosted by Mercedes Benz, South African Airways, and DeLeon Tequila at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.
When: Thursday, November 14
What: A floor-length Valentino Spring 2014 gown with sheer panels, paired with coordinating Christian Louboutin pumps and a Jimmy Choo clutch.
Why: When Nelson Mandela’s daughter Zindzi introduced the film, she joked, “It hasn't been easy growing up with parents like mine,” but added, quite earnestly, that her mother was in awe of Harris’s performance. And rightfully so. Harris stole the show as Winnie Mandela—and proceeded to do the same on the red carpet.
