It’s Time
Designer Rachel Antonoff has always chosen a theme for her collections: Fall 2013 was “best friends”, last season was “science fair.” For her new collaboration with & Other Stories, she says, she found inspiration in “the idea of a bustling political campaign office with a whole bunch of women working toward a common goal.” The collection, in stores now, includes seersucker suits and cheeky t-shirts that read “We Try Harder” and “It’s Time.” A short film directed by Antonoff’s longtime friend and collaborator Lena Dunham brings the collection to life, with actress Zoe Kazan taking the campaign trail. As Kazan declares in the film, “Well, you know, girls can do anything.”
