Greek shipping heiress Eugenie Niarchos is a hard to miss on the international jet set circuit, with her bold accessories choices (who else can rock a Givenchy thorned headpiece with ease?) and bright smile. Here, the fashionably-gifted 25 year-old reveals her favorite Paris restaurant, her disdain for kitten heels and her affinity for the Spice Girls (circa the Nineties, of course).
Define your style in three words: Ethnic, nineties, chic.
Daily uniform: In the winter I tend to wear my high waist jean shorts with a tight long sleeve cashmere top, black opaque tights and high-heeled booties. In the summer I wear crop tops with long skirts and sandals.
Greatest hits: I can’t live without my long black Azzedine Alaia mermaid style skirt, Muzungu Sisters Mochilla bag and my vintage khaki army coat.
Preferred footwear: Very high Charlotte Olympia heels!
Finishing touches: I love to add jewelry—rings, earrings, bracelets and hairpieces. I change them according to my outfit.
Nighttime look: My nighttime look is the same as my daytime look but I add very high heels. I either wear shorts with an Equipment shirt or a long skirt with a cropped top.
Best recent discovery: Sophia 203, an accessories designer who lives and works in Jaipur. She makes belts, bags and hairpieces, all in embroidered silk.
Favorite stores: FD Gallery in NYC for jewelry, Organic Avenue in NYC for healthy juices, Opening Ceremony in LA for new designers and fun clothing.
Style pet peeve: Kitten heels.
Style icons: My great grandmother Gloria Guinness, Carine Roitfeld and the Spice Girls circa the Nineties.
Last purchase: A little round handbag with a hologram of an eye that opens and closes. I got it at Patricia Field in NYC.
Lusting after: The Balenciaga tiger shorts for the summer. I am obsessed with tigers and tiger prints.
Favorite haunts: Ferdi in Paris for food.
Warm-weather must haves: Norma Kamali bikinis, Muzungu Sisters Sicilian basket and a Bali sarong.
Next vacation: Maybe a weekend in Ibiza…
