Thakoon Spring 2015: Backstage Beauty

For spring 2015, the Thakoon girl brought to mind models from a Herb Ritts shoot, who have just emerged from a pool while on vacation in Tahiti. The hair, wet with half a tube of Kerastase Forme Fatale Bodifying Gel applied to dry strands by stylist Odile Gilbert, was daintily pulled back with two small front sections that were twisted and then tied together. Faces had a touch of a shimmering tan thanks to Diane Kendal who used NARS the Multiple in South Beach ($39, narscosmetics.com) and Liquid Illuminator in Orgasm ($30, narscosmetics.com), and a big slick of clear lip gloss coated eyelids all the way up to and over fresh, brushed up brows. Nails were also glistening after Gina Edwards painted them with the sheer nude Morgan Taylor Lacquer in Sugar Fix ($8.50, beautycarechoices.com).
