How has New York fashion week been so far? BCBG was a great way to start off the week. The designer is super sweet, and the collection was strong. I also loved the simple make up.

Did you do anything for Fashion’s Night Out? Unfortunately, I didn’t because I had hair and makeup tests for Alberta Ferretti until very late! I haven’t even been to any great fashion party yet, so I don’t know what to expect. I am looking forward to socializing at the end of the shows, though.

What is the first thing models do after a show? Haha, we go straight for the coffee and catering table to see if there is any good food.

What helps you get through collections? I have to have my cell phone, iPod, tea and lattes.

What music have you been listening to? Patti Smith, Band of Horses, Vampire Weekend and Empire of the Sun.

Rumor has it that you like to make your own clothes. It’s seldom I sew something from scratch, but I love to remake clothes. I turn things inside out, up and down; I twist and cut them too. My latest piece is a one-shoulder dress made in brown silk from a scarf.

Can we expect a Dorothea Barth Jörgensen line anytime soon? I want to design, but nothing specific. I like to be free in my way of thinking, so I sew, paint, act and sing. The important thing is not to care about the results, but to enjoy the process. I have lots of side projects going on!
