Water Worlds

Photographer Tim Walker applies his fantastical imagination to every medium he touches, and his latest obsession, cinematography, seems to have real sticking power. After creating, Suspension of Disbelief, his watery short for W with model Kristen McMenamy, Walker decided to dive even deeper, partnering with We Are Colony on a full-length film entitled The Muse. McMenamy once again plays a mermaid who washes ashore in a dreamy reality, but this time the model is not alone for long. Actor Ben Winshaw seems to find her as mystifying as Walker. Watching the trailer, it’s hard to blame him—this siren’s call is electrifying.
