While makeup artist Pat McGrath’s modern, smoky under-eyes at Victoria Beckham’s Fall 2015 show were striking, they weren’t exactly the most enviable element of the runway beauty look. Rather, it was the models’ glowing, luminous skin that stood out. “I wanted the girls to look healthy, but also nonchalant,” Beckham explains. “The makeup was smudged so it felt important that the face was really bright and fresh to balance the look.” To achieve visibly moisturized skin, models wore SK-II’s cult-favorite Facial Treatment Masks for 10 to 15 minutes backstage, and then applied Facial Treatment Essence and Essence Eye. “I think the collection is refined and relaxed at the same time. And you can really see that in the beauty look too,” says the designer.
