Watch the Fifty Shades Freed Trailer

The preview to the third and final film in the trilogy is here.

It seems like Fifty Shades Darker just hit theaters, but those who caught it know that the film already included a short teaser of the next film as a bonus—and it has finally been released in its own right for anyone interested to watch and rewatch, awaiting the third film’s February 9, 2018, release date. The final film in the trilogy is entitled Fifty Shades Freed, picking up where we left off after the second film, where Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey seem to be living happily ever after. Or so one may be lead to believe.

Fifty Shades Freed will be coming to theaters just in time for Valentine’s Day. Both of the already-released movies in the saga have also shared that romantic box office opening weekend, which has seemed to do them well. Unlike the first two films, however, this trailer doesn’t bring with it a song of the season. Fifty Shades of Grey arrived with Miguel’s cover of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love,” and Fifty Shades Darker introduced us to Taylor Swift and Zayn’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.” We supposed we’ll have to wait a little bit longer for the musical accompaniment.

The upcoming chapter concerns the happy couple honeymooning in Europe, with Anastasia attempting to adjust to her newfound wealth. Without giving too much away (as the film’s first preview certainly doesn’t give even an inch’s worth of spoilers…), those who read the book know that it might not be all rainbows and sunshine once the duo heads back to their native city of Seattle.

Wondering how there’s already footage from the new film just a few months after the last debuted? Both films were shot back-to-back with the same crew.
