Ravyn Lenae’s Versace Top Is Hypnotizing
Ask any reigning pop girl—from Charli xcx and Lorde to Adéla and Olivia Rodrigo—and they’ll tell you that a bra is very much a top. But leave it to ascendant Chicago-born star Ravyn Lenae to level up this on-stage aesthetic through an exclusive Versace pull.
On Monday, to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the singer-songwriter appeared in a look from Dario Vitale’s fan-favorite spring 2026 collection. Her nappa leather pants featured intricate beading and a straight fit that elongated her legs. She accessorized with a pop of color via a studded suede fuchsia belt from the label. The standout element, however, was her statement bra—an unreleased item—which had a subtle cone shape and swirling black-and-white pattern. Though not presented as one look on the runway, when pieced together, the ensemble once again proved that Versace is still the ultimate uniform for musically-inclined It girls.
Presented last September in Milan, Dario Vitale’s viral Versace collection took inspiration from Gianni Versace’s late-’80s designs, but shied away from the Italian brand’s typical va-va-voom aesthetic. Instead of overt skin-baring, it embraced sexiness through other details, like undone zippers, belts left unfastened, and cardigans slipping off chainmail skirts. The intricately adorned bra was another recurring motif—with tiny, ultra-embellished tops becoming their own outfit-making moment.
Though it departed from traditional Versace codes, Vitale’s vision has proven to be highly favored among the pop star set. Just days after it debuted on the runway, Addison Rae wore bedazzled separates from the collection on her Addison world tour.
More recently, in January, Robyn performed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in a full look from the runway, complete with crimson pants and a bejeweled single opera glove. Notably, her beaded leather vest was embellished with the same pattern on the pants that Lenae performed in last night. Clearly, great performers think alike.
