Rihanna Dresses Up Joggers for a Night Out in Paris
Rihanna can make absolutely anything look good, even a pair of sweatpants. And in case you had any doubt, just check out what the singer wore while in Paris over the weekend, when she elevated the loungewear staple for a night out.
On Sunday, Rihanna was seen en route to César Restaurant in Paris alongside her friend and makeup artist, Hector Espinal. The evening called for something comfortable, yet still cute, and Rihanna had just the outfit. She wore a pair of grey cotton trousers from The Attico with white reflective piping down the front. On top, she kept it similarly causal with a dark grey tee. It was the accoutrements that really made this ensemble dinner date appropriate, however. Rihanna topped the base layer with a silk Saint Laurent trench, threw on a pair of silver Gucci heels, and grabbed her black Dior Toujours hobo bag to complete the look.
It seems Rihanna has been prioritizing comfort lately, though never at the sacrifice of style, of course. It makes sense that the mom of three wants to wear something that she can move around in, but she manages to maintain her sense of personal style no matter what. Earlier this month, Rihanna wore a similarly laidback look when taking her two sons to the dentist. She paired a sea foam green rugby shirt from Connor Ives and silk Ulla Johnson pants with a jogger-like silhouette. The fabric and lace trimming of the bottoms elevated the piece, as did a pair of Amina Muaddi sandals and a vintage orange crocodile Fendi bag.
A few days prior, Rihanna carried the same Fendi when out in NYC. That time, she wore a full velvet tracksuit, courtesy of Chloé. Clearly, Rihanna is very happy in the loungewear space, and as the temperature continues to drop, don’t be surprised if you start seeing her pair more and more heels and designer bags with cozy ensembles.
