The Fabulous, Outrageous Looks From the “Ab Fab” Premiere, Sweetie Darlings
Patsy and Edina are back, and the stars of the ’90s sitcom Absolutely Fabulous have brought a few friends with them. As Ab Fab, as it’s affectionately known, reunites original cast members Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley for its big-screen debut, with a few chic additions. Kate Moss, Kylie Minogue, Jean Paul Gaultier (wearing a Union Jack, naturally), and Jourdan Dunn all strutted the red carpet in glitter, feathers, and above all, a lot of that Stella McCartney silk brocade. Pink patterns, tracksuits and Cavalli gowns, graphic tees and floral crowns, the Absolutely Fabulous red carpet was just as outrageous, outsized, and over-the-top as the fashion world farce it celebrated. There’s nothing subtle about this lineup, because even in a post-Brexit world, there’s no holding back an Ab Fab party, darlings.
