Burning Man 2018: How Celebrities Like Karlie Kloss and Alessandra Ambrosio Partied

The celebrity burners are back. Some of the usual suspects—like supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio and Karlie Kloss—made their way to Black Rock City for the 32nd annual iteration of Burning Man, which concluded on Labor Day, to participate in the tradition of building a temporary city in Nevada (and looking good while doing it, clad in their Mad Max meets space alien outfits). The summer event is more than just a place for friends and family to bond under the Nevada sun—Heidi Klum used Burning Man as an opportunity to have a romantic getaway (her new boyfriend, Tom Kaulitz, from the German band Tokio Hotel, joined her on the desert trip), while others performed for the crowd over and over again (Diplo and Simi Haze publicized their DJ sets on Instagram). Here, a look back at this year’s most excited celebrity burners who headed out west to explore the festival dedicated to the spiritual principles of self-expression and decommodification.
