In 1971, Aido Cipullo designed the now iconic nail bracelet for Cartier New York. Thursday evening, a bold-faced group—most of whom weren’t alive for the jewelry piece’s original conception—flocked to the brand’s Fifth Avenue mansion to preview an exhibit celebrating Cipullo’s design. Afterwards, a mix of models (Karlie Kloss, Chanel Iman, Arizona Muse), celebs (Lou Reed, Lily Collins) and even a princess, Charlotte Casiraghi, headed to Skylight Studios for an after party. The expansive space was outfitted with Seventies-style bordeaux banquettes, where guests could enjoy a performance by Rita Ora and a late DJ set by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem that even drew Jay Z and Beyonce out of Blue Ivy hibernation.
