These Celebs Partied This Week, Coronavirus Panic Notwithstanding

While some stayed home, washed their hands until they were chapped, and manically refreshed the Centers for Disease Control’s homepage this week, others, like Karlie Kloss, Janelle Monáe, Florence Pugh, and Jaden Smith braved the outside world in the name of parties. Lena Waithe and Tessa Thompson showed up at the celebration for HBO’s Westworld premiere (just a couple days after Waithe toasted her own new show, Twenties,) and Beck partied with Gucci for the brand’s new mascara launch. Meanwhile, in Paris—where panic surrounding Coronavirus had reached a high after cases were reported throughout Europe—Alicia Vikander and Pugh went to the Louis Vuitton show, and Maggie Rogers sat front row with Grace VanderWaal at Chanel. And if Gloria Steinem, who made it out to attend Diane von Furstenberg’s In Charge conversations event, isn’t scared, then perhaps none of us should be. See more of the few and the proud who left their houses this week, here.
