STREET STYLE

Dallas Art Fair Street Style, Day 1

by Kristi + Scot Redman

Dallas Art Fair

Sure, Dallas might not be known for an avant-garde fashion sensibility, but what Texas society does do well is put-together tradition with a touch of flair. It’s the perfect approach to the opening of the Irving Penn retrospective at the Dallas Museum of Art last night, which marked the first day of the weeklong series of events centered around the Dallas Art Fair. Sculptural, statement accessories abounded: sequined toppers, graphic clutches, colorful fur, and daring footwear gave the proceedings fresh life—fitting, as Penn was a sort of instant classicist. See the best looks from the Dallas Art Fair’s street style, day 1, here.
