Lineisy Montero, Marjan Jonkman, Natalie Ludwig, and more of the season's top models strolled down Elie Saab's runway during Paris Couture on Wednesday. It was trademark Saab: princess skirts, twinkling embellishments, dramatic slitted skirts, jewel tones. But it was also a collection that shone perhaps just a little bit brighter than seasons past; the designs featured bolder geometric prints (hearts, florals, swallows, one sheer belted gown emblazoned with what looked like the silhouette of the Chrysler Building), and a notable addition of a few children accompanying the models down the runway. If Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, and others can corner the children's ready-to-wear market, why not mini-me couture?
