Flaming June at the Frick

The Frick Collection

On Monday evening, the Frick Collection added some sizzle to the New York social scene with its Spring Garden Party for Fellows, sponsored by Belvedere vodka. The theme of the evening was inspired by Sir Frederic Leighton’s iconic painting “Flaming June,” which is on loan from the Museo de Art de Ponce in Puerto Rico for the first time. Guests took the opportunity to take an #ArtSelfie with the piece before heading outside to the Frick Collection’s rarely open Fifth Avenue Garden, where a jazz quartet played amongst the seasonal flowers. Needless to say, the society members present were dressed to impress in their flaming finest.
