From Victoria’s Secret Angel to Model Mommy: Candice Swanepoel’s Style Evolution
The South African Victoria’s Secret supermodel Candice Swanepoel has not only earned her angle wings, but she’s made a name for herself on and off of the VS runaway. Swanepoel’s career has taken her from the runways for Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs to doing commercial work for labels including Guess and Juicy Couture. In honor of her 28th birthday (and new baby boy, Anaca, who she welcomed into the world last month) here’s a recap of her sexy model style over the years.
November 2007: Fresh on the Victoria’s Secret after party scene, Swanepoel accented her golden tan and long legs by wearing a turquoise mini dress with long mesh sleeves. She competed her look with golden ankle strap peep-toe sandals.
February 2009: The model looks red hot as she attends the celebration of a ‘What is Sexy?’ List event in NYC. She wore a skin-tight mini dress that showed off her enviable frame, and finished the look with nude Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps.
November 2009: At the 2009 Victoria’s Secret fashion show after party, Swanepoel stayed true to her sexy style and opted for a white halter geometric-cutout dress. The plunging bodice of the dress highlighted the models cleavage in a tasteful manner.
March 2010: The stunning VS Angel walked the pink carpet of the Victoria’s Secret 2010 Swimsuit Season Kick-off Party in a hip-hugging, navy-and-cream bandage dress. She completed it with a pair of black and gold ankle-strap peep-toe pumps.

May 2011: At the 2011 Victoria’s Secret celebration of ‘What is Sexy?’ List event, Candice looked sexy and sweet dressed in a black Dolce & Gabbana Dress. The dress featured a bustier bodice and full midi skirt.
June 2012: The model went romantic goddess at the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards. She posed on the red carpet in a violet blue Valentino lace midi dress and white Brian Atwood peep toe sandals.
June 2013: A year later, Swanepoel went for a pretty look at the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards. She opted for a white Prabal Gurung cocktail dress that features a multi-colored embellished shoulder strap, a thick black waist-synching belt and sequin printed panels.
November 2013: The model sizzled as she bared skin in a tight-fitting white Alexandre Vauthier Couture mini dress at the 2013 Victoria’s Secret fashion show after party. The dress featured a navel-grazing neckline, shoulder cutouts and asymmetrical hem line.
December 2014: The model looked drop-dead gorgeous in a white Zuhair Murad sheer floral-embroidered gown on the pink carpet of the 2014 Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
