Over the years, W has featured the women that rule their industries, whether it be modeling, acting, music, writing, directing, or some combination of all of the above. From the likes of icon Jane Fonda, who has been speaking her politics out loud since the 60’s, to Janelle Monae in a Hitchockian gray suit, these women—whether dressed in the latest couture, or stripped down in black and white—are all examples of strong females that we’ll be looking to for inspiration for years to come.
