At Versace, Donatella Versace recruited her brother’s favorite ’90s supermodels, including Cindy Crawford and Carla Bruni Sarkozy, for a moving homage to the late designer. At Gucci, Alessandro Michele folded inspirations pulled from Elton John into a collection that built substantially on his previous work for the brand. The night before Dolce & Gabbana’s scheduled Spring 2018 show, the designers staged a guerrilla show featuring millennial models like Sean “Diddy” Combs’s son Christian Combs, Coco König, Cameron Dallas, and more. But the highlights of Milan Fashion Week weren’t strictly limited to the runway: Behind the scenes, models and front-rowers made sure to take in some local delicacies (pizza, naturally), and the amfAR Gala gathered its usual star-studded crowd. Here, see a few of the highlights of Milan Fashion Week Spring 2018 on Instagram—before we move on to the final leg of the marathon fashion month, Paris.

After the Versace show, the menu for a crew of hungry supermodels included French fries and pizza. “#carbing out after #versace,” captioned Naomi Campbell, pictured with Maria Borges, Jasmine Sanders and more. (Sanders, alias Golden Barbie, posted the same photo, captioned “Carbs with the Queen.”)

While in Milan, Emily Ratajkowski made sure to sample all the local delicacies, pizza and red wine obviously at the forefront.

Izabel Goulart made time for some inversions amid the packed schedule of Milan Fashion Week.

5

Hari Nef has retreated from fashion week lately, but she made an exception for Gucci.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’s son Christian Combs was just one of the stampede of millennials—most of them the Instagram-famous offspring of genuinely famous individuals—who walked in Dolce & Gabbana’s “surprise” Milan Fashion Week show, which took place the night before the brand’s Spring 2018 runway.

Ellen Von Unwerth captured a whole crew of models, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Hailey Baldwin, and Karolina Kurkova, at the amfAR Milan gala during Milan Fashion Week Spring 2018.

Of course, models Jon Kortajarena and Alessandra Ambrosio know how to strike a pose for the cameras.

Claudia Schiffer posted the best throwback photo in honor of Gianni Versace: an image of herself with the late Versace designer, his sister Donatella, and the musician Elton John. Then, Schiffer walked in Versace’s Spring 2018 show.

Kendall Jenner was proud to report she was mobbed by fans exiting a show during Milan Fashion Week, judging by her latest dispatch from Milan Fashion Week. (Though the Kardashian 10-year special airs Sunday, and her younger sister Kylie has dominated the news cycle with pregnancy rumors, Kendall still has claim to some of the spotlight.)

Musician Soko the Cat channels equal parts Gucci muse and Owen Wilson in The Royal Tenenbaums at Gucci’s Spring 2018 show. The emojis are a crucial addition.
