An American Thanksgiving in London

Monique Péan found herself in the U.K. this year for Thanksgiving. So she did what any expat would do on such an occasion – she threw an early dinner for those in London who felt a pang of nostalgia for the holiday or simply wanted to indulge in the American tradition. The menu? Turkey stuffing made of apple, quinoa and sage. Among those in her company were architect David Adjaye, curator Hikari Yokoyama, artists Polly Morgan and Lynette Yadom Boakye, and Matchesfashion.com founders Tom and Ruth Chapman. The jewelry designer made a donation for every guest to the New York-based non-profit Charity: Water.
