Topping our list—or bottoming our list—Britney Spears’s first public scandal (pre head shaving, rehab, and custody battles) was her 5:30 a.m. quickie wedding to childhood friend Jason Alexander in Vegas. The whole thing was swiftly annulled barely two days later by Spears’ team of fast-moving handlers, leaving her free to walk down the aisle again a few years later with Kevin Federline.
Chicago Bulls wild man Dennis Rodman, who wore a wedding dress to the book signing of his 1996 autobiography, actually walked down the aisle two years later in a 7 a.m. Las Vegas ceremony with Baywatch star Carmen Electra. The pair had a non-binding ceremony in Bora Bora with promises to follow it up with a big, legal, wedding back home. The second wedding never happened. They issued a statement explaining, "After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further. While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends."

There are more than a few skeletons in R. Kelly’s closet, and one of them is his under-the-table marriage to the late singer Aalyah. The two met while producing her first album, “Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number,” and fittingly, Aalyah’s parents stepped in to annul the marriage because it was completely illegal. She was only 15 at the time.
Our first pair to make it into the triple digits, Presley and Cage met at Johnny Ramone’s birthday party in 2000, and were on-again, off-again until they married in grand style in Hawaii. Their eventual divorce was the third for Presley: her notorious second marriage to Michael Jackson came just 20 days after her first divorce.
Leave it to Pammy to make this list twice. Anderson and the Kid tied the knot in rock star style: a boozy St. Tropez ceremony wearing a white string bikini and a white tee and baseball hat.
