NYFW FALL 2017

Vaquera Interprets the American Dream For Its Debut Show at New York Fashion Week

For their debut show at New York Fashion Week, designers Patric DiCaprio, David Moses, Bryn Taubensee, and Claire Sully of Vaquera were inspired by the American Dream. The collection was a juxtaposition of blue collar and white collar workers; insider and outsider aspirations, and included references to both construction workers and chefs as well as iconic American brands like Tiffany & Co. These young creatives started designing their Fall 2017 collection long before Americana took on a whole new meaning after the election of Donald J. Trump, but welcome any political interpretations today. See exclusive images from Vaquera’s fall 2017 runway show at New York Fashion Week shot by Dillon Sachs, here.
