Where: After the screening, guests headed to an after party at Armani/Ristorante on Fifth Avenue, hosted by the movie’s director, J.C. Chandor and its two stars Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain.
Who: The actors Zachary Quinto, Dan Stevens and Zosia Mamet, along with model Lindsay Ellingson and musician Sophie Auster.
Why: Chastain’s siren red wrap-style custom Giorgio Armani gown acted as a sartorial teaser for the film: in her role as Anna Morales in the circa 1981 crime thriller, Chastain wears exclusively Giorgio Armani looks, ranging from contemporary ‘80s-inflected designs to pieces pulled straight from the brand’s Milan archives.
