Action stars may pull off wild stunts on-screen, but sometimes accidents do happen. Blake Lively was recently injured while filming her upcoming spy thriller The Rhythm Section, according to Paramount Pictures.

“Paramount, Global Road (formerly known as IM Global) and producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli today confirmed that filming has been temporarily suspended on The Rhythm Section as Blake Lively sustained an injury to her hand whilst filming an action sequence. Production will resume as soon as possible,” Paramount said in a statement to Deadline on Monday. The studio has yet to reveal how serious Blake’s injury is, and whether the February 22, 2019, release date will be impacted by the temporary delay.

Deadline reports that the film also stars Jude Law, is helmed by The Handmaid’s Tale producer and director Reed Morano, and is based on the first book in Mark Burnell’s series of spy novels. In the movie, Lively plays Stephanie Patrick, a woman who becomes an assassin on a mission to uncover the truth about why her family was killed in a plane crash. It sounds super intense and likely requires the actress to take on some challenging stunts.

Over the weekend, Lively shared a photo from the film in which she looks drastically different from her normally sunny self. She’s swapped her signature long blonde locks for a pitch-black pixie cut, is sitting in a dark room, and appears to be on the verge of tears. “#TheRhythmSectionMovie,” she captioned the photo, alongside an emoji with the exact same ‘do. And that’s not the only makeover Lively has undergone for the film: In early November, she was spotted working on the movie in Dublin while sporting an unkempt blonde bob with choppy bangs and overgrown roots, and she had brown hair in the new film All I See Is You.
