Trend: C’est Bow

Pretty, please! That’s one refrain that echoed throughout the collections, and what better way to punctuate it than with stylishly wrapped bows? They were everywhere, in designs that ranged from childlike sweetness à la Shirley Temple to chiced-up tuxedo pieces that might suit Marlene Dietrich. Meanwhile, the mood was flamboyant at Marc Jacobs, with mammoth bows festively topping off dresses and gowns. No matter how the look is romanced, one thing’s for sure: It’s a bow coup.
