Bold and Beautiful

Rei Kawakubo’s new collaboration with British milliner Stephen Jones is an interesting twist on white floral—the most beautiful fragrance category, in my opinion. There’s an almost metallic kick to the wisteria and rose blend, which also includes notes of pepper, clove, and amber, but what really sets this recipe apart is the inclusion of pungent mate leaf.
