Almost Infamous

“Famous Baby” by Karen Rizzo

I’ve never been a fan of reality shows, and this book justifies my stance. After a cyber Mom documents her daughter’s every step (and poop and word) from babyhood to puberty to early adulthood, the daughter retaliates by saving her grandmother from a similar fate when she learns that Mom’s planning on documenting Grandma’s Alzheimer-based deterioration for all the world to see. Doesn’t sound like light material, but Rizzo manages to find the humor—to the point that I’m already borrowing lines from the book.
