On Wednesday night, Forevermark Diamonds hosted a special screening of The Theory of Everything, director James Marsh’s new biopic about Stephen Hawking and his wife, Jane Hawking. Held at the Lighthouse International Theater in New York, the intimate affair brought out the film’s leading lady, Felicity Jones, who wore a fitted, black Jonathan Saunders gown. “It was one of the most nerve-wracking experiences of my life knowing that Jane was going to see the film,” admitted the British ingénue. “My instinct was that I had to do lots of homework. It started with finding out what it’s like being a caretaker and meeting patients that have MND. And then speaking with Jane—she is almost like this army general and that’s what I tapped into.” With Oscar buzz already building, it seems like Jones’s homework paid off.
