Florals can be a tricky design motif—too many pretty pastel petals and you’re veering into Laura Ashley territory. But these accessories, ideal for afternoon tea, an evening soirée or a worldwide jaunt, get it just right. Renaud Pellegrino’s minaudière is embellished with a perfectly unfurled dusty pink rose. Balenciaga’s travel case, wrapped in a 1964 flower print by Cristóbal Balenciaga, is fitted with pockets for important papers. Another example of a flower used to chic effect is Giuseppe Zanotti’s spare sandal. Topped with a singular satin bud, it was inspired by none other than Jackie O, strolling in flats along the beaches of Capri.
