Surf’s Up

As the daughter of legendary surfboard shaper Al Merrick, Heidi Merrick grew up on the beach and has surfed some of the world’s most exotic locales, from Bali to Morocco. In both her home and ready-to-wear collections, Merrick blends California minimalism with sporty utility, and the same is true of the limited-edition swim line she designed in collaboration with the St. Regis Princeville resort. This rash guard, which features the view of Henalei Bay from the St. Regis property, has me yearning for a trip to Kauai.
