Meghan Markle’s fashion influence is obvious already, but on Monday, it also was reflected not just on the common consumer but in the upper echelons of Hollywood gentry. As Marie Claire reported, Jennifer Garner finally got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. For the special occasion, she opted for an elegant navy blue Roland Mouret number that featured the designer’s signature asymmetrical drape with a matching collar. And lo and behold, it’s the exact same dress that the Duchess of Sussex wore to her tea appointment with the Queen the day before her wedding to Prince Harry. While Garner wore the dress with a pair of navy blue ankle-strap pumps, Markle styled it in May with light gray Manolo Blahnik heels.

While it’s possible that Garner’s moment of twinning is a coincidence, the actress’s love for the Duchess of Sussex is well-documented. As Marie Claire reported, on the day of the royal wedding, Garner Instagrammed a behind-the-scenes photo from 13 Going on 30 of her and Mark Ruffalo in their wedding costumes. “Harry and Meghan, if you’re looking for stand-ins, @markruffalo and I are just hangin’ around,” she wrote in the caption.

Mouret is a favorite of Markle, who also counts the French designer as a friend. “She’s a woman of the times,” the designer told British Vogue in May. “She’s a business woman, and she’s very straightforward.” In fact, he’s been responsible for so many of her looks that there were plenty of rumors he would be designing one of her wedding dresses (the honor ended up going to Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy and Stella McCartney).

“Meghan knows really well what she likes and the main thing with Meghan is to listen to her and work in collaboration with her,” Mouret teased at the time, according to the New York Post. “I’ve already said too much.”
