Cindy Crawford’s 14-year-old daughter will never go through the awkward teenager phase.

Aspiring young supermodel Kaia Gerber is basically the consummate professional. The daughter of original super Cindy Crawford has basically got the catwalk in her genes, but that doesn’t stop her from working every possible opportunity — including the red carpet. She appeared with the whole Gerber clan — mom Cindy, brother Presley Gerber, and dad Rande Gerber — for the premiere of the Lifetime movie Sister Cities. Gerber (who is a budding actress in addition to model) has a minor role in the film alongside early-’10s television stars like Troian Bellisario, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Stana Katic. But just because her part in the movie is small, doesn’t mean she’s holding back for the red carpet.

Who: Kaia Gerber.

When: Wednesday, August 31.

Where: The premiere of Lifetime’s Sister Cities in Los Angeles, California.

What: A black pantsuit by Zuhair Murad with zipper embellishments, black peep-toe sandals by Alexa Wagner, a metallic box clutch, and a chain choker.

Why: Let’s pause for a second and remember that Kaia Gerber is 14 years old. She just landed the cover of Love magazine, she’s quietly elevating her personal style, and she’s juggling a career in both fashion and film. It’s entirely possible (and entirely unfair) that Cindy Crawford’s daughter never went through — or will never go through — the awkward phase that is the lot of every teenager on the planet. At least, judging by how adult and polished this Zuhair Murad look is, she has kept it pretty well under wraps. (Maybe on her private Instagram, for example.) It’s a little ’80s, with its zipper detailing, sharp, strong shoulders, and skinny cigarette pants, but details like her silver choker (the choker isn’t dead yet!) give her retro aesthetic a contemporary edge. Kaia Gerber has it all together.

Kaia and Presley Gerber are ready to work, work, work, work, work, work:
