Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s son, Saint West, is back home and hopefully catching up on some missed festivities after spending three days in the hospital.

According to TMZ, the two-year-old was admitted to a Los Angeles area hospital last Thursday for a bad case of pneumonia. His parents were with him the whole time, the outlet reported, sharing overnight duties at the hospital. Thankfully, Saint has recovered pretty quickly and was able to go home on Saturday, just in time for New Year’s Eve.

On Tuesday, Kardashian posted an emotional account of the experience on social media. “My precious baby boy is so strong!” she wrote on a post that was shared on both Instagram and Twitter. “After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging. Pneumonia is so scary. I just want to thanks [sic] every nurse [and] doctor out there who works so hard around the clock. We are so grateful for you all! He’s home and all better. He’s so resilient I’m sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint.”

Pneumonia is always a pretty scary ordeal, but it can be especially life-threatening when the patient is two years old or younger. Luckily, it sounds like Saint West had some very dedicated doctors and is well on his way to a full recovery. Here’s hoping the West family—which will be expanding any day now—gets to spend the rest of 2018 far, far away from the hospital.
