Chad Murawczyk and Mindy Yang, the partners behind the beauty boutique Min New York, stock some of the world’s most esoteric fragrances—from Amouage, a line founded by the Sultan of Oman, to Kerosene, made in rural Michigan. So it’s no surprise that their first eponymous scent collection is far from run-of-the-mill. “Each one is about a place or a moment that means a lot to us,” Murawczyk says. Old School Bench brought me right back to third grade, with notes of cedar and wood wax, which together smell like pencil shavings. Moon Dust blends flint, benzoin, and tobacco with dirt—and it’s delicious.
