W‘s beauty director loves this new classic fragrance.

My Burberry,

I bought my first Burberry trench 15 years ago, and I still treasure it, so when I heard that Burberry CEO and chief creative officer Christopher Bailey envisioned the brand’s new fragrance, My Burberry, as a trenchcoat in a bottle, I knew I’d be into it. (That’s me in the snapshot below, at the fragrance unveiling.) “Christopher wanted to evoke a woman wearing a trench in a London garden after a rainstorm,” says perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, who created the dewy floral. “It’s a classic, structured scent but with a twist.” Said twist comes in the form of quince, which provides the blend of rose, geranium oil, and freesia with a burst of fresh fruit. Let it rain.
