Naomi Campbell and Skepta know a thing or two about trolling their massive fanbases.

On her Instagram account, Naomi Campbell shared a photo of herself on the March cover of British GQ, posing topless with the English grime rapper Skepta.

Just before the complete cover was released, the model shared a cropped segment of the cover photograph overlaid with a giant question mark, teasing her Instagram followers to speculate what it could be that she was about to reveal to the world. Inquisitive commenters questioned who else could possibly be posing with Campbell, until the cover dropped on Thursday morning. Inside the cover story, titled “Race, Sex, Love and Power: When Naomi met Skepta” the model and rapper chronicle their collaborative friendship, as well as discuss the aforementioned topics, including the #MeToo movement and Donald Trump–but says nothing about a romantic relationship.

Though, rumors that the two are romantically linked have circulated ever since they met in November 2016 at the British Fashion Awards. They were also recently spotted together at Paris Fashion Week, and just before Campbell posted the photo of the British GQ cover, she reportedly shared—and then swiftly deleted—a photo of herself wearing just boxers, while Skepta remained mostly naked. Fans of both Skepta and Campbell commented with their support, encouraging a romantic union between the supermodel and grime’s finest.

However, the intimate photographs shot for British GQ appear to just be a representation of their professional bond, as Campbell is wearing Skepta’s MAINS briefs, an item in his new underwear collection that the rapper had asked Campbell to assist him with in a collaboration. Skepta’s Instagram remains Campbell-free for now, but as the MAINS collaboration takes off perhaps we should expect a few more snaps of the pair together in the near future, whether they are a couple or not.
