Planter’s Punch

Like most of my colleagues at the magazine, I have been impatient for spring to arrive—not so much so I can start wearing sandals (though that certainly will be nice!) but so I can start working on my roof garden. I am digging these minimalist cup planters by the Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, which are available from Design Within Reach. Now the only question is what to put in them.
