When: Tuesday, February 24th
Where: The Roundhouse, a former railway engine shed in London. It was transformed into the ultimate fashion fun fair, with designer-sponsored booths, a life-sized Helter Skelter carnival ride and Caspian, Russian and all-American fairground grub.
Who: Model Mariacarla Boscono oversaw a “hook-a-duck” game, sponsored by Louis Vuitton; writer Suzy Menkes told fortunes (with help from Swarovski); makeup artist Pat McGrath did haute couture-worthy face painting; model Maryna Linchuck challenged guests to ping pong; and model Eva Herzigova handed out treats from a Dior ice cream cart.
Why: The Naked Heart Foundation helps build playgrounds for children with special needs across the world (136 to date). What better way to celebrate that mission than by reminding adults of the importance of light-hearted fun?
