Destination: Shark Beach
Nicole Banning, the designer behind swimwear label Ephemera, shares her inspirations.
What is your favorite beach? Shark Beach at Nielsen Park, Vaucluse, in Sydney, Australia. It’s so beautiful and dreamy. I swim here after work most days in the summer. I love to people watch but most importantly a dip in the ocean is calming and keeps me level-headed.
What’s your insider secret to the destination? Don’t miss the Hermitage Trail walk that wraps around the Sydney Harbour Foreshore to the left of Shark Beach.
What do you always bring to the beach? A good book. I just finished reading ‘The Social Animal’ by David Brooks. It was the perfect beach companion, in my opinion—I couldn’t put it down!
