Oh, Mexico!

The New York florist Ovando launches seven candles designed to take you there.

Ovando—the Manhattan floral design studio whose arrangements can be found scattered around Madison Avenue boutiques like Giorgio Armani and Hermès and frequently landing on the desks of fashion editors—is introducing a candle collection at Barneys New York this weekend. The seven fragrances were made to match seven locations in Sandra De Ovando’s home country, Mexico. From Dia De Campo, a fig and bamboo blend inspired by a picnic on the lawn, to the peachy-sweet Xochimilco, which was inspired by Mexico’s city of canals, each of the Robertet-designed scents offers a mini-escape at the flick of a match.
