Battle of the Cannes Parties: L'Oreal vs amfAR

Would it really be the Cannes Film Festival without a parade of models wearing diamonds and couture? Based on the L'Oreal Blue Obsession party and the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala, likely not. Models made up the bulk of both guest lists, with a few lucky men on the fringes (we're looking at you, DiCaprio and Weinstein). Fortunately, the respective parties were on different nights, which meant many could attend both. Because when you're young, beautiful, and in France, why choose?

Location, Location, Location L'Oreal: The Grand Hyatt Hotel Martinez in Cannes.
amfAR: The Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes.

The Cause L'Oreal: "In celebration of cinema and glamour." In other words, why not?
amfAR: The Foundation for AIDS Research and its pursuit of a cure for HIV/AIDS (the event raised more than $25 million).
