At Home with the Seinfelds
What: A luncheon hosted by Tod’s designer Alessandra Facchinetti and Jessica Seinfeld to benefit Baby Buggy, the charity Seinfeld founded to help provide supplies and support for underprivileged mothers and their young children.
When: Friday, July 24th
Where: At Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld’s Hamptons home.
Who: Gayle King, Mamie Gummer, Michelle Hicks, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtke, Tali Lennox and Rob Pruitt, among others, got a chance to order from the Tod’s fall collection in the Seinfelds’ barn, which was turned into a pop-up shop, complete with a farm stand that proffered brightly colored Tod’s loafers instead of the more standard fresh vegetables and fruits.
Why: In addition to raising funds for Baby Buggy, the event also marked Facchinetti’s first trip to the Hamptons, possibly as exotic an endeavor as a New Yorker’s first sojourn in Capri.
