Just added to my summer reading syllabus: Lily Koppel’s The Astronaut Wives Club, a juicy tale about the women married to the rock stars of the early space program. With their furs and Pucci dresses, their lavish theme parties and spreads in Life magazine, these ladies were the original Real Housewives.
