Last season, Milan-based street style stars Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini debuted their new label Attico, a women’s wear line comprised of sexy slip dresses, robes, and camisoles. It quickly gained a cult following among their cumulative 200,000 Instagram followers and sold out at Net-a-Porter.

Now, the design duo are taking their brand out of the boudoir and onto the streets. “This season we took our woman outside and ended up traveling to exotic places and tropical destinations,” Tordini said at the brand’s presentation during Milan Fashion Week. “The theme of this season is ‘exotic erotic.’ You can see the color palette is very different—last season it was very soft, this season it is very bright and there are a lot of prints. It’s more fun, more ruffles, more sexy.”

A bold attitude isn’t the only thing that’s new for the brand: for Spring 2017, Attico is also adding denim. “Last season we used to propose to our clients and our girls like how to wear it with denim to make it very casual,” Tordini said, pointing to the pair of medium-wash jeans she was wearing. “For this season we just decided to make our own.” There are two silhouettes, both inspired by vintage Levi’s: one high waisted, fitted, flare, which Tordini was wearing, and the other low-rise and baggy. “We ordered both for fashion week,” she said.

In addition to denim, Attico is also launching a collection of bags (silk pouches with bejeweled embellishments) and shoes (from mules to heels). And, they’ve added knitwear and lots of embroidery to many of their pieces. “We decided to do everything this season!” Tordini said, laughing. “I feel just like we wanted to make a little wardrobe so we have the shoes and we have the pouches. They have everything now. They don’t need to mix it with other brands.”
