Ciao Valentino!

The fashion house opens a new flagship in Rome.

2015 is turning out to be quite a year for Valentino’s creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli. First, the design duo took over the former Whitney Museum to present an all-white collection. Then, they broke the Internet by inviting Zoolander 2 stars Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson to hit the runway during their Fall 2015 show. Today, the historic fashion house announced that it is opening a new flagship store in Rome—it’s largest yet. The store, which was designed by David Chipperfield Architects, is conveniently located in the central, bustling Piazza di Spagna, right next to the Valentino Maison headquarters in Palazzo Mignanelli. The structure combines the classic Italian palazzo style with modern elements, like mixed marble. To boot, this will be the first Valentino boutique offering men’s denim made to measure. And you’re welcome.
