White Out

When the temperatures plummet, it’s time for winter white.

There is something exhilarating about bright white in the dead of winter—especially when it involves diamonds. Longines takes a cue from vintage watches of the Roaring Twenties for its delicate new timepiece in 18-karat white gold, produced in a limited edition of 20. De Beers’s watch, with its circular triptych design and face flanked by twin bezel-set diamonds, is sensual yet simple—perfect for the uptown sophisticate. Meanwhile, sharp lines are on display in Milus’s mythologically inspired stainless steel and diamond creation. Conversely, Cartier goes artfully asymmetric for its diamond-bordered beauty positioned on a quietly extravagant toile brossée band. Now that’s white hot.
