The 2026 Emmy Awards are upon us, and with them comes a feast of fashion finery. Held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the 78th annual event is shaking things up with the first woman host in 15 years: Emmy winner and TV icon Mariska Hargitay. But before monologues are made and statuettes are handed out, small-screen stars must first walk the red carpet.
Leading the evening’s nominations is HBO Max’s medical drama The Pitt, with 25 nods. In second place comes the final season of Emmys favorite Hacks, with 24 nominations. Among the A-list nominees are past winners like Colman Domingo, Zendaya, Ayo Edebiri, and Lisa Kudrow, as well as stars who could win their first, including Elle Fanning, Meg Stalter, Sarah Pidgeon, and Connor Storrie—but for his SNL hosting gig, not Heated Rivalry.
